Grooving Iona    
 

Short video showing our laminitic Iona, who has only been lame for about 12 hours at the start of the video and follows her progress over the following week.

We have obtained veterinary approval to groove her feet.

I believe the improvement seen after grooving is due to the fact that very little damage has occurred to her foot at this early stage and that hoof capsule distortion is the main cause of pain in early acute laminitis

Grooving Willow    
 

Willow has a recurrent episode of laminitis, he has been filmed before vertical grooving of his fore limbs, after he was grooved he was shod with standard British concave shoes.
