I would like feedback from anyone who has either been involved directly with grooving laminitic equines or from owners who have has their horse grooved.

I have made a number of presentations at veterinary and farriers conferences over the last eight years but I've received only small amounts of feedback on how the ideas are received or if they have been implemented.

22 February 2006 23:40:37 Hello Tom, it's Hayley (Bucket's owner). Love the photo- 'Bucket in a bucket!' Great site, by the way. I hope things are continuing to go well for you and your theories are reaching a wider audience. Bucket's doing well. 24 years old soon! For anyone else reading this, I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that Tom saved Bucket's life after years of suffering severe Laminitis. The effects of the grooving were amazing. Almost immediate relief for Bucket. I have full confidence in Tom and his work and will be ever grateful to him. We nearly lost Bucket but he was given a new lease of life. He's 24 soon but seems younger than he did 10 years ago!

24 February 2006 15:29:11 To endorse the above comments regarding Bucket, the vet wanted to "put Bucket down", however, Tom thought differently (thank goodness). Bucket was at the stage where he could not walk out of his stable due to his severe laminitas. I urge anyone with a laminitic pony/horse to contact Tom. Bucket is continually grooved and leads a normal, happy life. He is out in the field about 2 - 3 hours a day and is perfectly sound. I recommend Tom to anyone with a laminitaic pony/horse and have every faith in him.

26 February 2006 14:28:51 Steady on, do you know how many laminitic animals there are out there! Thank you for the very kind comments and I’m very pleased to know Bucket is so well. Tom
